I have lots of friends, but lots of them don't have the internet and i love talking online, but i don't want to meet any wierd physcho child molesters!!!!!!!

I have friends from a lot of different sites, MySpace, Flickr, and many smaller ones. The one's I've met, we've emailed/talked a long time (sometimes over a year), and then we meet at a very public place like Starbucks. The first time we meet, that's pretty much all we'll do, and if all goes well, then we might meet again and do something else, like a park, museum...
Some signs of a dangerous person to meet:
A person who answers a question with a question
Someone who has an inconsistent story
A person who answers questions vaguely
Someone who seems to good to be true
If you meet someone and find them to be dangerous, leave them immediately, and go to another public place. Do not drive home immediately. If you can take a bus or cab back home because a person can track you with just a license plate number.

Man, I went CRAZY talking to people online.. I was kind of a freak though.. I'd go on www.teenchat.com *blushes* I'm not sure if it's the same as it was before, if you check it out, you'll see, hehe. But somehow I managed to meet my boyfriend there and we've been together for a while! It seems to be rare when you meet someone online that you really click with; I've talked to a bunch of people that I talk to for a few minutes but nothing ever gets started.. neither knows what to talk about or anything. Just like in real life, you can't force it ^.^ Good luck!
Oh, and you could try "people-meeting" sites like mindviz.com, realpics.net, myspace, etc.. ?

Myspace, contrary to the popular belief created by 60 minutes ive been meeting tons of people on there and some in person, and not one is a liar or molester...just check their info and use common sense to see if they look legit, and check their friends/comments, that will give you an even better idea. And if youre still unsure about someone just check their friends' pictures to see if they have any with your person in them.

Do not meet with people you have only met online. It is not worth the risk whatsoever. I know everybody says this but that is because it is true. You can pretend to be anybody online. It says my name is Debbie, but for all you know I am a forty year old guy with a beer belly who watches too much porn. People who are who they claim to be will understand that it is unsafe to meet, and shouldn't want to meet you either, considering you may not be who you claim to be. If you choose not to listen to any of my advice above and meet up with people anyway, make sure it is in a public place like a mall or a restaurant. Don't go anywhere alone with them until you know them very well, if you go anywhere alone with them at all. The point is, the internet is open to everybody. You never really know who you are talking to and it is much better to just meet people the old fashioned way and save yourself the risk of getting raped and murdered. It isn't worth it. Please don't do anything you will regret. I advise you to stop talking to people you don't know online completely.

just talk to a lot of ppl. everyone aint child molesters. just talk to sum ppl long enough to trust them but dnt give them ANY INFORMATION. and when u believe u can trust them b their friends
