Well, I used to do that, download songs from limewire to Itumes, but when limewire got corrupted and would not open, I had to reinstall it. Heck, guess what? Over 3,000 songs were deleted.
I now do it a different way. Open a separate folder, name it as " limewire songs" then download the songs into that folder. Then I transfer all the songs from that folder into Itunes then import them into itunes. If Itunes become corrupted, a reinstallation will not delete your songs. Sounds nice, eh? Yeah. So I am set. ( Smiles)
To import songs into Itunes from another folder, open that folder, click on the edit button located to the upper left, then select ( select all) then drag and drop the songs into itunes.... Once all the songs are stored in Itunes, click on edit in Itunes located to the upper left and select ( select all) then right click on the Blue screen where the songs are to the right and select import.
That's it. Hope I was hopeful.

Limewire DOES have an iTunes setting, but that isn't the easiest way for me. This is what I do:
1. Download the song off from LimeWire (Download to desktop)
2. Use Switch (An audio converter)
DL-->http://www.nch.com.au/components/switchsetup.exe
3. Load music file
4. Select the output folder to be desktop, then output format = .ogg
5. Click CONVERT!
6. Import it into iTunes!
7. THis is my fastest way of doing it!
