God did not desire to kill the firstborn of the Egyptians, but remember Pharoah's disobedience to God is what brought the curse on his people. The king is a covering for his people, just as parents are a covering for their children. It is the same today. Some people have lost their children because they did not listen to God. But, we do not see death as God does. When children die, they go back and live with the Lord. So, in essence, they end up in a far better place. God will allow children to die and come and live with Him, then walk in their parent's footsteps and reap hell.

Read the Book before you talk. Moses said the last plague would be by Pharaohs "own" mouth. And Pharaoh decreed the death of the Hebrews first born. Which resulted in the death of Egypts first born.

Exodus 1:22 Finally Pharaoh commanded all his people , saying "Every newborn son you are to throw into the river Nile, but every daughter you may preserve alive.

God's law was an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.
Be careful what you do to others because God's law is that,
"Do unto others as you would like them to do unto you."
Pharaoh, beat them and made them slaves and torture them and sealed them up in the walls of his buildings. As slaves when he died they were buried alive with him to be his servants in the after life. Along with his young wives who we also to accompanied him to the under world. If any people deserved what they got they did.
I definitely would not blame God for anything he did to them.
That is what they did to the Israelites.
Then complain because they got it back?
But you believe that Americans are justified in killing people because they killed Americans???

The Egyptians mocked God and disobeyed him. Therfore, God punished them by killing their children. If you look further into the Bible you will see that sometimes when the Isrealites disobeyed him, God killed their children as well.
