This is difficult to explain and understand I pray that God will open your eyes and your heart to the truth of this mystery. It does take faith. God the Father, is the cause, origin and source of all things visible as well as invisible. The Son is the Word, the wisdom and the image of the Father. The Holy Spirit is the eternal power and might, proceeding from the Father and the Son. Nevertheless, this distinction does not divide God into three since Scripture teaches us the the Father,Son and Holy Spirit each has his own subsistence distinguished by characteristics, yet in such a way that these three person are only one God. Nevertheless, these persons, thus distinct, are neither divided nor fused or mixed together. The Father did not take on flesh, nor did the Spirit, but only the Son. The Father was never without His Son, nor without His Holy Spirit, since all these are equal from eternity, in one and the same essence. There is neither a first nor a last, for all three are one in truth and power in goodness and mercy.

Jesus was created the almighty has always been here, these are the scriptures to prove it.
(Colossians 1:15-17) . . .5 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation; 16 because by means of him all [other] things were created in the heavens and upon the earth, the things visible and the things invisible, no matter whether they are thrones or lordships or governments or authorities. All [other] things have been created through him and for him. 17 Also, he is before all [other] things and by means of him all [other] things were made to exist,
(Revelation 3:14) 14 “And to the angel of the congregation in La·o·di·ce´a write: These are the things that the Amen says, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation by God,
(Acts 7:55) 55 But he, being full of holy spirit, gazed into heaven and caught sight of God’s glory and of Jesus standing at God’s right hand,
(Revelation 1:1) 1 A revelation by Jesus Christ, which God gave him, to show his slaves the things that must shortly take place. And he sent forth his angel and presented [it] in signs through him to his slave John,
(Revelation 7:10) 10 And they keep on crying with a loud voice, saying: “Salvation [we owe] to our God, who is seated on the throne, and to the Lamb.”

You cannot understand it because it isn't true. God is a flesh and bone individual. Jesus was his first spirit child and also his only earth child. The Holy Ghost is a third member of the God head that has not received his body as yet. After Jesus was killed he rose from the dead and has now a body like the father the Holy Ghost will stay in spirit form until Gods work on this earth is finished the way I understand it.

If you don't know what the trinity is, that's great! The less you know about it the better. It is confusing, not to mention it is not found in the Bible. Jehovah is the Most High. Ps. 83:18. Jesus is not God; he is the Son of God. Nowhere in the Bible does it say that God is composed of 3 co-equal persons. The Catholics brought that in and contaminated Christianity with it and other strange beliefs.

God exists as three eternal beings that share an everlasting unbreakable bond. God the Son (Jesus) was never created but proceeds (begotten) from God the father. For example , rays proceed from the sun or words proceed from the mind. Jesus is known as the enternal "word" of God, which means that God created everything through and for Jesus Christ. God the Holy Spirit proceeds from both the father and the son, for example, it is the "warmth" you feel when in the presence of both the sun (God the father) and it's rays (God the son). The sun, rays, warmth, are one, just as the trinity is also ONE God.

May the peace, blessings and mercy of God be upon you
The best explanation is below, may God allow you to see the straight path,
005:072] Surely, they have disbelieved who say: "God is the Messiah Jesus, son of Mary." But the Messiah Jesus said: "O Children of Israel! Worship God, my Lord and your Lord." Verily, whosoever sets up partners (in worship) with God, then God has forbidden Paradise to him, and the Fire will be his abode. And for the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong doers) there are no helpers.
[005:073] Surely, disbelievers are those who said: "God is the third of the three (in a Trinity)." But there is no god (none who has the right to be worshipped) but God alone). And if they cease not from what they say, verily, a painful torment will befall on the disbelievers among them.
[005:074] Will they not turn with repentance to God and ask His forgiveness? For God is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
[005:075] The Messiah Jesus, son of Mary, was no more than a Messenger; many were the Messengers that passed away before him. His mother [Mary] was a Siddîqah [i.e. she believed in the Words of God and His Books (see Verse 66:12)]. They both used to eat food (as any other human being, while God does not eat). Look how We make the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) clear to them; yet look how they are deluded away (from the truth).

Peace Be With You

Pretty simple.
The nature of the one true God is very complex. So very complex that we as humans can't comprehend it. We've tried to come up with an explanation that attempts to explain it...the "trinity". While a LOT of people see it as one description of the nature of God...others remain "confused" (or claim to be confused as an excuse for continuing to deny/reject the love and mercy of God).
Your explanation: open your heart and your mind to the love and mercy of the one true God, and to salvation of your eternal soul thru His Son, Jesus. Once you've done that, you'll realize the folly of tilting at windmills.

actually many believe in it and are not catholic. i myself dont. i believe in One God. i believe Jesus is that ONE God and the Holy Ghost is that ONE God. however those who believe in the trinity meaning 3. believe you have the father the son and the holy ghost. all 3 make up the godhead or God. kinda like a triangle. or an egg. you have in an egg the shell, egg white and egg yolk. all 3 are an egg and make an egg however all 3 are its own as well.
i believe more like water. you have steam, or gas, liquid, and then ice or solid state. you can go back and forth and with the same cup of water get all 3. just different forms. i believe God has many roles and that is why the Bible talks about. like father in creation, son in redemption, and Holy Ghost in regeneration. and Jesus is the name.
some will say as a trinitarian that they believe in ONE God however they really dont. they believe 3 make 1. just like the Bible talks about God, the almighty one, heavenly father. those are not different persons or things but God. i believe in ONE God as the Bible says. and that Jesus is. just like the Bible says there is one Lord and God is our Lord but later on it says Jesus is our Lord.
or when one of Jesus desciple said you are truly my Lord and my God. Jesus did not tell him he was wrong.
