When in all actuality, Satan has ALWAYS been the icon/symbol for HELL which is torturous and hurtful. Hmmm.... Do some of you think this is just a good excuse or do you all think Satan is actually sending up good things?

Satanism is about accepting that life can be torturous and hurtful. But that's also what makes life worth living, sometimes.
In Satanism itself, Hell is living an unhappy life.

There are two groups of people who call themselves Satanists; the first group believe in everything the Bible says but worship Satan and do everything else in converse, the other group developed in a strange way from the first. It is a pagan group that does not worship Satan and does not hold with any Christian dogma and would never torture or hurt another being. There is nothing in the Bible that says Satan is torturous or hurtful it was just a way to scare folks into doing what the pastor/priest said. Satan does a lot of God's work in the Bible. Satan isn't that bad a guy, leave him be.

I'm not sure you really know what Satanism is. Perhaps you should do some research before you condemn it.

FYI, Satan has NOT always been a symbol of Hell or evil. Please educate yourself.
Satanists do not worship the Christian deity of Satan or any other demons. 'Satanism' refers to the pre-Christian life force called satan, and it teaches lots of good values. Anyone who claims otherwise is ignorant, or a liar.
For one thing, Satanists don't worship a God who drowns, sickens, and slaughters millions, or who commands his followers to hurt and kill other people, like the Biblical God does. Can you say the same?

Lucifer is the Light Bearer -- The bringer of knowledge (look it up if you don't believe me)
I actually don't believe in either, but why would you want to follow the tyrant that is in the Old Testament even if it were true.

Satanism is a rational set of values for living life free from nonsensical intereference. Satanists don't actaully worship satan, it would be hypcritical to do so, they are atheists. Satanism preaches good values of respect for others personal space and belongings, and of making informed decisions. What could you possibly have against this? Theistic satanism makes a speciality of the judeo-christian devil, and is quite helter skelter. that is not an reputable corporation, with a gathering position and website and crap. Atheistic/LeVeyan satanism makes a speciality of the guy, to blame self indulgence and revenge at the same time as that is needed. If i had to be aside of a faith it might want to be Atheistic Satanism.

In LaVeyan Satanism there is no deity worship. You really should do some research before asking questions as such.
As for myself, I do not believe in the existence of satan or demons so for me it's a non-issue.
