I have the same suggestion that Rooney made and since I live in the GTA, I know that they are available here. Go to a local Michael's and in the section where they have all the wedding stuff, they have a variety of kits in different styles. Staples as well as Grand & Toy have the same stuff but Michael's is about $5 cheaper a kit than the others. They give you sample wording so you can decide how exactly you want it to sound. Since you make them yourself, they are faster than waiting for the printing company to get them back to you and they're about half the price of having one of those company's make them for you.

the best thing to do is make them yourself. Get a digital camera or have a friend take a picture of the bride and groom have it put onto the computer dress it up a bit and print it out.Send most by hand and others by mail. You can dress it up even more by buying some ribbon( same colour as the dresses) and tie a ribbon around each invitations. Its cheap and it looks great.

In the US we have an arts and crafts store called Michael's and they sell wedding invitation kits for like $20 each and you just print out your own invitation on the paper provided. So in Canada just call up a few arts and crafts stores and ask. You'll spend under $75 (without postage of course).

You can download free templates for invites online. Edit them to suit, print them on beautiful (but cheap) card. Print addresses on the envelopes. I put a small piece of ribbon across the top of each and 2 rhinestones. Cost us about $40 including the postage - and so many people commented on how beautiful they were.
