Totally agree with above answers. Also when you buy meat, buy the right cut (sirlons, rybeye, rump...etc) for the right dishes. Once you have your meat, know how to cut it correctly to get max taste.

Generally, boiling cube meat takes a long time to get it tender and should be cook with slow heat up to 6-8 hours. Pressure cook saves much more time.

Heres a little trick, if you are pan frying (stir fry), cut up the meat then mix a bit of baking soda (or meat tenderzie) in and let it sit in fridge for 30-45mins.

The baking soda with help tender the meat but just remember not to put in too much because it wreaks the favour. Also lime/lemon juice can help too and creates a better flavor.

slow cooker. For 6-8 hours. With veggies, mmm dellicious,
Also a pressure cooker will be faster. You can also pound it or run it thru a tenderizer first. Add a meat tenderizer(Protein enzyme) to break down the meat protein a bit before cooking. The finest restaurants hang a beef carcass in a cooler for several days to a week or more. Lets its protein break down before cooking.
