Its an antibiotic from the family macrolides. It has wide range of coverage over bacteria. Its very effective in treating community acquired pneumonia and other infections. Side effects include GI upset.

this is the generic for zithromax. It is mostly used of upper respiratory infections, like sinus, and ear infections.
