I don't know of any other animated car movies such as that off the top of my head but I would suggest other Pixar films as a start.
These would include Toy Story, Finding Nemo, A Bug's Life, The Incredibles, Monsters Inc...
I have included a link to their page
The animation style and movie direction are all very similar so based on the reaction, you'll be able to determine if it is the movie style, the cars, or the plot that is appealing.

Try Thomas the Train. I've yet to meet a kid that didn't like it. There are tapes and DVDs that are 1/2 hour long. Usually the themes of the stories are intersting to kids as well. If it is the "car" thing that is interesting him, he will probably like any plane, train, or automobile type shows/movies. Like Jay Jay the Jet Plane- I've never seen it, but I've heard of it. My son is 2 and he has been in love with Thomas since he was 1, almost all of his first words were the Thomas characters.)

Pretty much any of the Pixar movies are good - the kids like the action, where it doesn't insult the adults. Toy Story, Finding Nemo (athough there's a scene near the beginning he might find upsetting - you should watch it first to determine.) Madagscar, and Over the Hedge were all fun movies. Any of the Herbie movies would satisfy a car lover.

Try a movie like Finding Nemo or Shrek. Pixar films can be great for little kids!! If you want to know more about the movies you want to introduce to your son, either go online and find a movie review, ask somebody who has seen the films or watch them first to make sure that YOU approve of them for your son.

The Polar Express is pretty action packed like Cars - my son likes that one, even if it is a little out of season.

oh my God, my son loves Cars too, my son is 2 years old and there was a month, when everyday he would watch the movie, but I would suggest Monsters Inc, Clifford the Big red Dog and Teletubbies. My son loves those. Good luck

Hi - I have twin boys aged two and they love Buzz and Poppy( website link below), Tarzan 2 (cartoon), and Ants.
Sadly it's all trial and error to find what your children like (and of course my twins both have different tastes :)
All the best.

Try "Hoodwinked". It's a cartoon also. Or even "Nemo". You could always go for the Disney classics as well. Best of luck to you.
