Define Apologetics in your own words and tell how you can use this?

Also, please discuss what happens when you use this knowledge and technique for self glorification, but deny this, and what are clear signs that a fellow Christian has gotten caught up in a situation like this and has fallen off the path that Christ originally put them on.

Apologetics is simply the act of correcting those who attempt to twist scripture, and pervert God's Word with false teachings.

You must first pray to the Lord for discernment and wisdom, read the ENTIRE Bible, and humble yourself to avoid ego and argument. Everything should be done for the Glory of God.

1 Peter 3:15 says: But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect.

Very important: You can not skim through scriptures, and expect to correct false teachings and false prophets.

Remember that Satan and his followers are very familiar with the Bible, and study scriptures regularly to deceive others by combining truth with outright lies. If you have not studied the complete Word, and are not led by God, you will not be able to confront, correct, rebuke, and expose them.

Memorize, memorize, memorize, and meditate daily on scriptures until it has become second nature. For the word of God is a spiritual weapon, quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4.12

The stronger and wiser you become by the Grace of God, many will attempt to silence you, or challenge you. Expect it...that's a good thing, as it means you're on the right path. The rest will avoid you and look for others who are spiritually weak. Also pray for courage and strength, because one needs it to proclaim the Word of God.

To answer the last part of your question: When one uses God's Word for self-glorification, they are no more than tools of Satan, and have fallen into the category of false prophet. There are many people like this who exist. That comes with living in the last days.

Whether they admit it or not, a Believer filled with the Holy Spirit can detect them, so it's no secret and truth is always revealed by the Lord. God Bless, Miji

I have to admit that I have been born again and reading the Bible atleast for 10 years and I do not know what "Apologetics" is.
