I'm on birth control pills so i don't know if that counts since the obvious answer to your next question would be that i would start my period. Your reaction would greatly depend on what kind of medication that you are taking. If it's an anti- depressant, then you need to consult your doctor and discuss taking you off of the medication. If you simply missed a week of your medication, then you should look at the information packet that came with your perscription, and possibly talk to a doctor (or nurse since it's almsot impossilbe to talk to a doctor unless you make an appointment)

It all depends what you are taking , and definitely how you are feeling emotionally , I've taken Zoloft and stopped and have not felt any problems , that is until I get stress or other form of anxiety then I wish I would've kept taking it , seems that the medication keeps me balanced emotionally, but even w/ meds you can still have bad days.

As others have mentioned , consult with your Doctor , you might feel fine now but can have a really bad episode without notice.

Everyones different , as to how it may affect you , do you really want to take that chance ? Talk to a doctor.

Need more specifics, Sally....what medication for what condition? I'd say contact your doctor's office and ask what will happen. If you've run out of medication perhaps they have some samples they can give you to get you through the next week or so...

Its not a very pleasent experience getting off some anti-depression medicine, like Paxil. For one thing it can make one dizzy, and cause a person to have strange dreams....really. If it is helping at all don't get off it. But if you think you'd like to try at least confer with your doctor. Because a person should come off that medicine gradually. Having been through clinical and suicidal depressiong perhaps this will help you.

it depends on what type of medication you are on
you should go to walgreens or cvs pharmacy and ask the pharmacist or your md
i think if you went off for a week or two the symptoms that you were having before you originally started taking the meds would come back
check with a professional before you stop taking your meds

I am on Concerta for ADD, and an anti-depressant. If I went off of them I would be a VERY hyper, depressed, anxious, suicidal person. And most likely dead before the two weeks was up. They cause bad effects if you just stop, you have to be weaned off of them.

Well it would depend upon what type of medicine you are talking about.

Some wouldn't show much effect and others it could be drastic.
