If one man says that a purple gorilla talks to him and can read his thoughts, he is called crazy.
But if many people claim that a superbeing talks to them and hears their thoughts and grants wishes, it's a legitimate religion?

What if the crazy man had a piece of paper that said, "the purple gorilla is real, worship him, he created you", what separates him from the religious people?

Y'all are trying to put me down and avoid the question by telling me I worship a purple gorilla. I am a female and therefore the 'crazy man' I refer to is not me.

the world doesn't accept God, that is why they rejected Christ.

"that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you." John 14:7

Persecution comes in many forms. It just so happens that being called insane and delusional for believing God exists is part of that definition. If I am right in worshipping God, I'd hate to see the look on your face when you tell God you've been worshipping a purple gorilla instead of him.

Oooh I like this... you're talking about valid perception vs. correct perception. What's valid perception to some might not be exactly correct perception. Good thinking track.
