i got a stock intake off of a 89-92 dodge van with a 360. How will this compare with my completely stock 318 with factory 2 barrel?

I think that over fueling would be a large to moderate problem. You would have to Jet the idles way down to get a good clean idle mixture and good acceleration off the line around a 0.107 or 0.110 jet should work great---now once going it would be fine. But i would gather that your intake valves won't handle the over fueling if you don't change the metering more than a year. Also you may be boarder line on the manifold vacuum for your power brakes.Going to a dual plane intake will help. This Carb. was made for a 350-400 cubic inches and is around 600 cfm. Your 318 in stock form and driven on the street is best using a 500-550 cfm for metering and decent manifold vacuum for power brakes. With changes that are simple any problem would be easily fixable. happy motoring

It will probably work just fine,,,the very worst that could happen is you may end up over carburated.
The old 318's where a nice power plant,,we use to call them lead sleds,,,,very dependable,,,but lousy on gas mileage.
