Why is it that Petroleum Jelly works better on the lips,then $4 burt bees?

My mom told me to use Poletroleum Jelly because with most lip balms,I form white bumps on my bottom lip which is really painful.Whats in it that works better because with regular lip balm,Im usually putting some on every 10-12 minutes because it dries out.

Burt's Bees is highly overrated in my opinion. I actually use the Blistex Lip Treatment that comes in a small light pink jar. It is excellent, just as moist as petroleum jelly and medicated to keep lips soft!
