Use two sticks of sofened butter or a 1/2 cup of melted shortning and a teaspoon of honey. The shortning makes the brownies soft and moist, and the honey adds to the flavor.

Try mayonaise, or unflavored yogurt, or applesauce. Reduce your liquids overall and add 1/2 cup of the above.

i agree with CC, not only is it moister its also healthier ... use the same amout of apple sauce called for the oil... a lil' extra wont hurt either

I use applesause instead of oil its moister and tast soo good
