My friend's dog and loved family pet was shot today by a neighbor's .22 and has some nerve damage in the shoulder of his left leg. The doctors are keeping him for observation, but said if he doesn't try to use the leg in the next 24 hours, they will amputate it.
I'm asking that all animal lovers and believers pray for him. I myself fell from grace years ago, but am still praying because there is strength in prayer.

Thank you for all the responses, and I should have said backslid but I'm still there even though I still believe.
As for the comment about starving children in africa, no my freind's dog is not more important, but every life on this planet is precious.

This is a very serious topic on prayer.
Did you pray that whatever happens would be G-ds will?
Or did you pray selfishly that this dog may stay alive and suffer for the rest of his life?
Its not that I don't love animals- I grew up in a Family Owned Petshop (as a human) I'm just curious how did you pray? For Gods will or your will?

Of Course I will pray! That is not a strange prayer request at all and I know God will help your dog heal and strengthen. I love animals and I am a very serious Catholic believer. Even if your friend's dog has to get his leg amputated, I know the Lord will help him to walk again. Ih Jesus could make a blind man see, or a dead man walk, he can definately help heal your dog. I send my love and Prayers to your friend and his/her dog.

We don't know what she had but was sick.Many dogs live totally normal lives on three legs.You need to get in touch with God.It's never too late to come back.He loves you
As for the dog.No one knows what God has planned with

Honey, I don't know what you mean by "fall from grace". We can ALL backslide and get away from God. He never leaves us though, as our Heavenly Father, once we're saved. If you truly have been given ETERNAL LIFE, you can NEVER lose that. God can be trusted. He is always just a prayer away. You cannot be UNBORN AGAIN.
