I actually have a issue with my jaw joint and that i basically cant chew gum anymore yet i imagine who ever invented gum had a marvelous theory.

Pro: Could be good if you´re on a diet because the number of calories that you burn (by chewing) is higher than the number of calories that you take in from the gum.

Con: It was always horrible at school when you would find used gum stuck to the underside of your desk.

If you are chewing a sugar free gum then it is very good for your teeth. It helps to clean them, and it keeps your jaw muscles strong. It also makes your breath fresh. Cons could be if you don't throw it in the trash when you are done. I hate seeing gum all over the sidewalk.

lol I have been chewing gum since I was 4 :) Pros I have good clean white teeth and am a pro at blowing bubbles :) Cons thanks to my bubble blowing expertise I have bad teeth now :)

Pros-Can be a quick freshner for bad breath and to clean your teeth.
Cons; Stirs up gastric juices in your tummy and causes excess gas.
