any pressure on it. Any ideas what it could be? Arthritis? I'm a soon to be 50yr old female.

Why are you asking people who have no medical training, have not taken your family or personal history, have done no exam of you and have run no tests?

You can have all of that done by SEEING YOUR DOCTOR!

Well if it hurts all the time it might be arthritis but you might your hip bone pinching a nerve, go see a doctor and have him check it out

It could be arthritis. Ask your Dr if you could try some Dicofenac sodium which are anti inflammatories.

you could have restless leg. put restless leg pain in your search . and seee. if you do go to the droctor and get the pill. it willl help you. and warm baths before and a pain kiiller. check to see if you are a diabteba. sugar can cause never pain. go to Dr Web and ask

Once you see your primary care doctor (and you should see one), ask for referral to physical therapy. PT's are your musculoskeletal specialist, and they can help you to get to the bottom of this problem.

Go to APTA.org, click on "find a PT", and search your home area.

feel lioek a shooting pain and then aches a lot? Maybe sciatica. worth getting your doctor to check it. could be caused by back problems. hope it helps!
oh and heat pads are greta to ease it!
