Borobudur built in the 9 th century AD on the Island of Java Indonesia. It was rediscovered in 1814. Similar to the above but Buddhist and also covering a large area. About 36 miles from Yogyakarta, also see the temple complex of Prambanan close by.

Ban Chiang Historical site in Udon Thani, Thailand. There remains of civilisation dating back almost 5000 years had been found.
There are other digs in Nakorn Ratchasima, Surin and a couple other provinces.
