She was born with very little hair and was perfectly healthy. It has hardly grown in the front. Is there anyone else that has a daughter with the same type hair. I do give her childrens vitamins and she eats healthy food!! Don't get me wrong I count my blessings everyday for the fact she is healthy.

Don't sweat. I used to be so worried about my daughter. She is 5 and so thin and short. I took her to the doctor and he said it was fine. Maybe bye hair clips. Try cirling her hair, it might thinken it up. Do you have thin hair? Her dad? any relitives? Don't worry her hair is fine.

I don't think there is anything medically you would want to do to make her hair grow. I had the thinnest whitest hair when I was little- my mom had to put sunscreen in my hair because my scalp would burn. Now my hair is sooo thick (<---and red now, lol) I have to get it thinned out. Just be patient and keep the ends healthy and trimmed. Maybe try some conditioner like Pantene- that is healthy. Side note- it is pretty darn common for caucasians to have thin hair when young, part of the heritage.

Look dont worry about it. Everyones hair is different.
My first daughter toook forever to get hair. She had very very fine hair and was about 2 when it grew longer. Now she is 6 and her hair is reallly really thick and wavy.
My second daughter is the same, she is 4 now and her hair is still very fine. It has grown longer but doesnt really grow very fast. But I think she will have my hair, which is very fine and takes forever to grow.

My MIL suggested I shave their heads to get the hair to grow back thicker and whatever. But I dont agree with that. So I've just let their hair grow at its own pace.

So just let her hair do its thing. But if you are concerned go and speak to her Dr. He may have more incite than anyone on here.

My hair did the same thing as a kid and the only thing I could do to make it grow what to keep on triming it

You might also want to tirm it

- seriously though, take her to a dermatologist.. and you *might* consider a Chinese herbalist if you live near one - ask around though as you want something safe from a reputable practitioner..
