I have searched everywhere to see if I have an original. I believe I do. Does anyone know what I should do to find out if this is authentic? It seems to be pastel water colors, a girl with a big pink bow in her hair, with a striped blue pink and green shall going down her back....how can I make sure this is not a reproduction????. I was given this from my grandfathers estate.

the very talented lady seems to have painted many many similar subjects and its not easy to see one matching your description exactly. the link below shows one very close to your description on the far right

as to authenticating it, once you have identified the picture, first thing that comes to mind is to e mail christys - their reputation speaks for itself and if memory serves they offer a free evaluation service.
good luck - you may have an extremely valuable piece of art there

Go yo a local museum and they'll address you to someone that can authenticate the picture . Or you can contact an auction house like Shothebys or Christies, they authenticate works.
