It's called the DVLA and you cannot get onto it. If you could, every pervert, robber, rapist, muderer and psycho in the UK would tap in numbers of women's cars and find out where they lived.

No such thing exists. This is restricted information available only to select persons. If you own the vehicle in question you can find out by going to the DMV. Otherwise only law enforcement, tow companies with actual possession of th vehicle and a need to notify the owner of that possession, or insurance companies with a claim against the vehicle can get the information.

This is the best option for a reverse phone number lookup https://tr.im/721a7
Receiving a one or two hang up calls each month is probably nothing to worry about, but when those calls increase in frequency and if it happens in the middle of the night then you must do something to stop it, before it starts affecting your life. With the help of this services you can take away the one advantage these people have - their anonymity.

No.
One thing you can do is get an insurance quote from such as Churchill, and when you enter the registration it will tell you the type and model of car.
Also perhaps try doing a www.hpi.co.uk hpi check (£30 I think) which might give some information on the car.

There are no such sites on the UK web that are legal . this information is covered by the data protection act .
Possession of information obtained by illegal means is punishable by law under the data protection act . This could be a fine or even a prison sentence ..

This isn't avaialble to the general public in the UK.
If you need to try and trace the driver of a vehicle involved in an accident they you should provide the registration number of the car to your insurance company and they'll take care of it...

This was/is operational in some European country, but definately not in the UK. If you ask me (which no one did) it's inviting trouble. Just think of all the irate road rage drivers going round peoples houses beating them up!? Insane...
This might be close to what you're looking for.

data protection act (in uk) does not allow this, only a police officer can do a vehicle check and even then has to have a reason for doing so.
