We have blocked off a number of rooms at a local hotel for out of town guests that will attend our wedding. How should we include that in our wedding invitations?

On a separate slip of paper apx. 1/4 sheet. Say something like "There is a block of rooms reserved at ____ hotel. If you wish to reserve a room, please call (phone number) and mention the {Jones/Smith} wedding. Then give a brief map.

This paper can be plain white, or shaded to be complimentary to the invitations. Don't put it in the invitations for locals.

Congrats on getting married!

Hotel Cards For Wedding Invitations

For those you know for sure are going to be attending include another sheet with the hotel information on it (the hotel should have something for you), and then if there is a special code to get the blocked rooms, include that.

Remember to only put this in the invites for your wedding party, close family and friends from out of town, etc. These are not for guests that may or may not come. (Unless there is enough rooms).

Also, it is imperative that directions are included! Congrats on your wedding, and have fun!

you should not include anything about accommodations in your invitations. You should only include the time and location of the wedding itself on the invitations. Then if you want to add anything else you have several options. Here are a couple.

1. you could include enclosure cards with your invitations(put the hotel info on those)

2. you could make a wedding website, they are free (this is what I am doing), include the website on your Reception cards. This way you can provide hotel info, directions, registry info , pictures and much more all on your website.

I have listed below some websites that offer free wedding websites.

You don't put it on the actual invitation itself but you should have a map/directions on how to get between the ceremony and reception sites as well as local attractions on a separate sheet of paper. That extra sheet should contain all of that information as well as where the room block is being held and contact information.

Information on hotel accommodations should be printed on enclosure cards which are included when you assemble your invitations. You can have a separate enclosure card for the hotel block and a separate enclosure card for directions/map. Or you can print the hotel block on one side and the directions/map on the reverse side (which I recommend so your mailing isn't so bulky). You can easily print out enclosure cards yourself using a laser printer or you can have them professionally printed by the company printing your invitations and map cards. Typically enclosure cards are printed on plain white or ecru card stock to coordinate with your invitations.

Put it at the bottom of the invitations that "For your convenience, rooms at__were made available for Our wedding guests, call and reserve early".Then include the phone # for them to call and reserve. That was a great idea for the ones coming from far away...Congratulations.

You should include an insert that states all of the hotel information ... that way your guests will be informed and they can choose if tehy want to stay at the hotel you chose or if they want to make other arrangements ...

this is not any longer proper to checklist registry education or any point out of money or presents in the invites. the education approximately your registries could be unfold via word of mouth via your bridal social gathering and on the spot kinfolk. additionally, at times it relatively is ideal for the Maid/Matron of Honor to comprise registry information in invites to the Bridal bathe, yet remember it incredibly is the MOH's determination, no longer the bride. on a similar time as I understand your problem approximately each and every of the money you spent, and you sense you "deserve" stable presents in return, your travellers are no longer obligated to purchase something for you. presents are the determination of the giver, no longer the receiver. in case you get carry of a latest, please smile, say thank you, and savour the present in the spirit it replaced into given, no longer criticize the giver simply by fact they did no longer do extra desirable. it incredibly is relatively egocentric, and that i understand that's no longer your motive. It seems such as you would be wanting a appealing wedding ceremony, and have self belief that your travellers will choose for the main suitable presents obtainable on your wedding ceremony. i might strongly advise you narrow back back your type of registries however. for below 50+ travellers, having 5 registries is relatively extreme. it incredibly is 10 travellers in line with registry, and you will no longer get a latest from each and every customer. (Couples not often deliver extra beneficial than a million present). i might slender your registries to 2, and shop the form of things lifelike. back, the registry information would be unfold via on the spot pals and kinfolk. stable good fortune Shay, and congrats on your wedding ceremony plans.
