My dogs have seasonal allergies and asthma. For mild symptoms we use Children's Benadryl. Ask your vet for the correct dosage for the weight of your dog. My dogs weigh about 14-15 lbs and take half a pill (each pill is 19 mg - so 1/2 pill is about 9.5 mg) every 6 hours as needed. When symptoms don't improve, our dogs have prescription medication, but quite often the Children's Benadryl works fine - just not in the worst parts of the year - Spring and Fall!
Also - Keep the house air clean of allergens. Vacuum and dust regularly - keep their bedding extra clean - turn air conditioning on if it is possible (we have a special unit in the room where our dogs sleep since their allergies are so bad) - keep filters clean - buy air purifiers. Keep dogs indoors more often when they are experiencing trouble. Good Luck!

Humidification. By a humidifyer or stand your dog in bathroom with hot water running in shower so can breathe in humidified air - works for my sinuses and has worked on heaps of cats and dogs at work. Can use an antihistamine or natural antihistamine from health food shop as long as no onion in them

My sisters dog has the same problem. Vet advised piriton from the chemist or similar antihistimine tablets.

I'm pretty sure dogs can take small amounts of Benedryl. Call a vet and ask.

i use benadryl from time to time, and frequent baths help flush alergines off the body. hepa filters, avoiding long walks during peak pollen season and making sure when it rains to get out and walk alot cause that is when pollen is low
good luck
