The Bible records about 6,000 years of human history. However, the Bible gives no age with regards to the Earth itself. As for mankind, we don't know how long Adam was in the Garden of Eden by himself- the Bible gives no specifics. The Bible records his creation, then says that God assigned him the task of naming the animals- who knows how long that took?? Eve was created only after God saw that it wasn't 'good for the man to continue by himself'. And the Bible continues the genealogy from there. But trying to put a date on it is presumptuous- only God knows for sure.

How is the Bible supposed to know? It was written in book form about 400 years ago and then it was written in German. All together it's been through about 5 translations and punctuation weren't added until 200 years ago. there's no way the Bible could ever tell you how long they've been on earth besides, at what point do you start calling humans from Neanderthal man?

Like Darryl mentioned, the number of years from Adam to today can be found in the Bible by reading the geneology listed. 6,000 years is a good number. Isn't it interesting that all the "ancient" civilization dating methods conclude that they are 5 to 6,000 years old as well?

//"i'm attracted to gaining awareness of how this vast bang concept easily is going, so a great way as a fish starting to be a mammal, and then a human."// it relatively isn't the vast Bang concept. the vast Bang is an theory bearing directly to the inspiration of our increasing universe no longer the inspiration or clarification of life. //''How ought to a minimum of one fish grow to be a monkey, and yet another fish grow to be human?''// that's no longer what befell. //''additionally, is gigantic bang a similar concept as evolution? Did vast bang deliver human beings approximately, one way, and evolution yet in a diverse way?''// No, no, and no.
