How can I propose to my boyfriend (its a looong story, not enough space to write)? I want to give him an engagement ring, but where do men wear them, which finger?

Don't do it. Your going to embarrass him and make him feel pressured and he may give a response he doesn't mean or want to.

Well, you mentioned a story to this whole proposal thing, and I would say use that idea. The engagement ring would go on his ring finger.
Nobody can tell you how to propose to your man, you know your relationship better than anyone on "answers", therefore, be sincere, and true to your heart. As long as you are truly in love with him and want to spend the rest of your life with him, and it is reciprocated, it will be most special!

I have been engaged twice. My first husband I bought a gold band because he wanted it. He wore it on his left ring finger. When we eventually got married I got him a new gold wedding band. It is really up to you and the person who would be wearing the ring on which finger he wanted to wear the ring.

Cute idea!!!! Yeah!!!! Congrats!!!! Take the boyfriend to a place you and he like to visit. (park, zoo, restaurant, bar, etc.) some place that has meaning to your both. He would wear an engagement ring the same place a woman would. :) Congratulations again. Very cool idea.

thats sweet and twisted. men usually give the rings, but i would say hey go for it! they wear it on the finger next to the thumb. sorry i am having a dumb momment!

just say will you marry me? its easy enough. give him a ring and it goes on the same finger as it would yours.

when i bought his ring for the proposal he placed it on his left hand and that is where it will stay until the wedding.
oh and he was ecstatic that i stepped up and asked.....
