Ecclesiastes 9:
5 For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not anything, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.
6 Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun.
10 Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.

think about the question you just asked for a minute. if your heart is not pumping, which means blood is not circulating to the brain for one....then how do you suppose a person might possibly be thinking or feeling anything? no one in a grave knows what is going on around them....they are dead as in their life forces have ceased. they dont sense anything, hear or smell or taste the dirt they are under. their bodies are busy decomposing to a rotten watery mushy mess until they turn to bones.

No one can answer a question regarding dead people. They have moved on to the next life. They are not sleeping. Their essence (soul) is no longer there. That's why they call them corpses which are shells of what once was.

No. Their Body's are. The Flesh. The Earth-Suit that were in to Operate in the Physical World.
You are a Spirit, you have a Soul, and you LIVE in a Body.
Jesus called HIS Body, the Son of Man.
Hope this Helps.
