...or is it, "I'm saved, kick back, relax" since they believe in predestination?

Sure. Calvinists have a responsibility. God tells us we are to witness to our neighbors. We can't tell who the elect are. All of us will stand one day before God and try to explain what we did with all that time He gave us.

I am saved. I can relax about not losing my salvation.

Kick back and do nothing for Christ? Heaven forbid.

I don't think it quite works like that. Calvinists believe that G-d knows everything, past, present, future. Therefore, He ultimately knows who will and who will not end up accepting salvation, and, in this sense, people start to believe in some form of predestination. I don't like this doctrine much, even if it is true, because it makes people believe they have no control over their destiny. Not true. You decide in your heart whether or not you accept or reject G-d. The choice is always up to the individual.
Peace.

Predestination is not the only thing Calvin stressed. He also stressed that doing good works was important in the decision making process on who went to heaven. William Bowsma has a great book on Calvin and Calvinism if you wish to check it out. Any more questions on Calvinism, feel free to contact me.
