I'm evaluating different dog toothpastes and am wondering if any ingredients are considered more helpful.

Chlorhex is the important part.
You can use infant toothpaste as well but not human adult toothpaste as has too much fluroide
However it is the action of brushing that more important then adding toothpaste. Just use 10% peroxide on a finger brush it works just as well as any commercial toothpaste or mouth wash for dogs

Enzyme-based pet toothpastes work best in controlling plaque and tartar. C.E.T. toothpaste is good.
