The Bible clearly says we are all sinners and cannot go to heaven on our own good works... see Rom 3:23. Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.tells about Jesus and His works on earth; every one then was still under the Law that God gave to Moses, so they weren't saved like we are today. The book of Acts tells about the first church and gives instructions on the ONLY way to be saved!! Romans through Jude are letters written to people that were already saved. Revelation is the only book of prophesy in the New Testament. May God bless your search for Truth!!

You can't be good enough to get into heaven without Jesus. Jesus is the only way to heaven. Believe in Jesus and you will be saved.

We are all sinners -- everyone of us. Jesus came to forgive the sins of the world -- everyone of us. If a person has a sincere desire for God and a sincere desire to do good I believe Jesus will meet that person in eternity and take the soul to heaven.

'As long as a person is as perfect as God in all their lives they can be in heaven with God forever. However, if they have missed being perfect, then they can't be with God.

Maybe you don't know that Heaven is the place of God. It is not a neutral zone where people who don't want God/Jesus will go.

Human Nature is fallen.
Sin is real.
Mary was sinless an assumed into heaven to sit at the right hand of Jesus.
Yet she believed in Jesus the Christ from the very beginning.

If you have lived your life hearing of The Gospel of Jesus Christ and have chosen thoughout your life to ignore His teachings , then you will have no place in heaven ; as you rejected God while you had life and the chance to accept Him . Ephesians 2 : 7 - 10 ... That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.. For by grace ye are saved through faith ; and that not of yourselves : it is the gift of God : Not of works , lest any man should boast ... For we are his workmanship , created in Christ Jesus unto good works , which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them ..

it doesn't matter what a person believes. all of what we have of what happens in the next life is speculation. the only thing that matters are your actions in this life, if your legacy will be kindness or selfishness. the truth is, the thought doesn't count. (that's why an atheist or agnostic jew can still be a good jew.)

now as for believing in jesus, that's just blasphemy, and your gonna be in deep **** : )

That Spirit We were Born with has to be Recreated.
Doing Good (and we Should all of the Time, no matter what) cannot Recreate your Spirit.
Religion cannot Recreate your Spirit.
Only Asking (Believing Who Jesus said HE was) Jesus to Save (Recreate your Spirit) will let you be Able to Handle GOD's Power (Love etc.) Flow through your Spirit.
Hope this helps, it Is the Truth.

Going to heaven isn't about being a good person. It's about knowing that you are a sinner in need of a savior. That savior is Jesus Christ. He is the way to heaven...not being a good person.

Jesus said that only God is good, so no such person exists (except for God, but he is already in heaven).
