If she wants singing in her wedding, hire a singer. You can find one cheap at a local college. Just call and ask for the music department. Singers I knew in college got calls all the time

As long as you sing well (and be honest with yourself here!) I think that would be really cool. But you should remember that you will probably be very emotional (I was crying so hard that it was all I could do to get out the "I Do") or at any rate very tired and your voice might not be at its best. Your wedding day will be really stressful anyway so think about that and whether you really want to add singing to that stress.

I don't think it's necessary. Bride has so much to worry about that day, I think it's just asking for trouble. I would advise against it. If she really wants to sing, do it at the reception, where the atmosphere is a little more relaxed.

It would definately be a different twist. But I think that a bride can do whatever she wants on her wedding day. On the other hand, what if she sang at the reception instead.

i think it would be great as a love song to the groom, but just not the wedding march part of the ceremony. you can break up the ceremony by singing after the vows or before the kiss, etc.

I think it would add a wonderful and personal touch to your wedding. My groom is actually playing a song he wrote on guitar for me as I walk down the aisle and I am so incredibly honored. I only wish I had the talent to do something so wonderful. I'm sure your groom will be very touched. Go for it!

never heard of that . don't suggest you be the first. its a huge day for you and attempting to sing as you walk up or down the isle is not a good idea. if you want sing an UN announced well practised song at the reception.

i think it can go both ways...if the bride can sing really well, then it should be no problem, and plus it'd be really different!

but on the other hand, she's going to be overwhelmed on her special day, especially with all her loved ones and of course her soon to be husband. i mean, if it were me, i would probably start bawling as soon as i took a step. =]

I like the idea. My husband sang to me before we lit the candles and it was a beautiful. You might want to sing during the ceremony because you will probably be very nervous walking down the aisle.

well, if she is confident that she knows the song well, and is sure that she won't become too emotional while doing it than it would be a lovely idea, but it she isn't sure and thinks she might mess up than she better not, but maybe sing at the reception or some other place where she feels more comfortable.
