What exactly was the answer they gave on the programme, as I have received 2 different answers so far?

£1.38 if you just add the pence, it didn't say add the pounds.

You forgot the "Two pounds" in your question. Yeah, the answer was revealed to be 506 pence after they restarted the game with £20,000 prize money then dropped to £10,000 then to £5,000.
I'm not sure you can work it out with just the text. Maybe the shapes and colours come into it as well and the pence in the title of the game.

It definately wasn't 138 because i watched the show till around 3am and loads of people guessed that and got it wrong. It mind boggled me so i also would love to know the actual answer!

the answer was never revealed, as it will carry over on tonights show. the pounds will count it aint that simple lol u just have to think around the edges of the box

yeah.... the ******* answer was 506....there is no way they could get to that number...it just was another ******* excuse to make money and waste our time & £.....basterds....they even didn't explain how!....i just wanna kill'em.....i spent £3 and didn't get through. anybody can think of anyway to get 506?
