Does anyone get a painful bodywide electrical sensation whenever they do exercise and their body gets hot? Or whenever the weather is dry and hot? What is this?

Sounds most consistent with Cholinergic Urticaria, in which you get a hive-like rash that can itch and/or burn after exercise, sweating, or taking a hot shower. It typically goes away within a couple of hours.

If this is what you have, it is not dangerous - only annoying. If it is really aggravating and bothering you, it can be treated with anti-histamines, such as benadryl (which you can get over the counter). Sometimes, oral steroids are necessary - but not a good idea unless very severe, etc.

BUT - "rashes" are best seen to figure out what they are. It is like saying, I have a picture on my wall - what is this a picture of?

Next time it occurs, see if you can get in to see your doctor to make an accurate diagnosis.

My bet is still urticaria, though. A chronic, physical urticaria sometimes called cholinergic urticaria. If benadryl doesn't make you too sleepy, it would be worth trying...

Hope this helps...
