Jesus was the Christ and we are His followers. We follow Christ and therefore we are called Christians.

I can only say what I believe. Jesus was a Jew, and in that fulfilled many prophecies about the Messiah...

as far as the 'first' Christian... it would be those who followed/follow Him knowing that He was the Son of God.. the Promised Messiah

No - I believe that Jesus was a Jew but he just disagreed with some of their laws and rules. The followers of Jesus are Christians.

well, the word Christian is acutally of Greek origin meaning "Acts like Christ" and then that sense of the word, yes. I guess the Christ acted like Christ and was pretty Christ like....

But if you mean "Do Christians believe that Jesus was his own first follower and worshipped himself..."

No, I don't. I think the first "Christians," or followers of Christ were the Apostles and their followers.

No, His disciples, and those who came to believe in His message were. Christian means, "follower of Christ", therefore He Himself can't be one.

What does Christ mean?... there were probably lots of people pretending to be Christ's in those days, it was a popular hobby before tv and computer games.
