You would be surprised what you can learn in the John.

John's gospel is the best, expecially when talking about salvation and eternal life through Jesus and Him alone.

John 3;36 - John 5:24 - John 8-24 - John 14:6 - John 11:25-8 and
so MANY more verses in this wonderful account of Jesus testify that Jesus is SURELY the ONLY way to God and salvation.

There is NO other and that is what the world seems to hate so much....but these are the words that Jesus Himself spoke about
Himself and the way to come to His Father....

"In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God..." The opening verse of John's Gospel.

Roman's is also good, ch. 1-1O, especially.

Also there is an excellent film called THE GOSPEL OF JOHN, which was just shown on TBN last night -- and it will most likely be shown again in the coming two months -- before April 8, as with alot of other wonderful and special programming.

You could also do a search on Yahoo to find out more on John and the gospel that he wrote.
It is probably the most beloved of all the gospel accounts and most likely the most of any book of the whole bible.
I know that it is surely MY favourite book of the new testament, which really means covenant by the way.

John is a popular book because those who think the trinity is Bible-based look there for support. Of course, it's not there or anywhere in the Bible.

Depends on the question. For a person truly curious about Jesus, I always reccomend they read the book of John first.
