I have little flat warts on my face?

I had them for nearly a year now. They itch so badly, my little sister and mum has it too. We don't know how to get rid of it! They are darker than my skin, I went to the pharmacy but all of the products said do not use on face. Please help! When I put make up on you can see the bumps on my face even though its not bumpy! I don't know what products to use, I don't want to go to the dermatologist because I heard that it scars and is VERY expensive.
