I like to eat something that will fill me up. If you want to be healthy, try oatmeal and fruit. If you need some protein to feel full, try an egg sandwich: 2 eggs, poached or over easy (not runny-its too messy), with wheat toast and mayo is really good.
If you need something to wake you up, drink some coffee.

The point is to fill up your stomach so it doesn't distract you. Warm, starchy foods work best. Hope this helps :)

You don't want to eat too much in the morning. If you do, eat about an hour before the test. You don't want the feeling of having to go to the bathroom when your taking a test. Some toast and your favorite cereal should be enough.

As to studying for the test. Best time to study are probably around the hours of 12am and 4am. Have you ever studied for a test and for some reason you analyzed everything in a dream? Thats because your brain can retain a lot of information around those hours. If you do study around those hours, dont do it the day before of the exam and get some rest.

I've heard before, (actually when I was in high school taking an SAT prep test) that bananas are the best "brain food" you eat. I would pair that with a bowl of oatmeal to fill you up. Good luck on your test!
