Also, when you do bring your Bible, do you open it and follow along with your pastor/minister? Does what he say coincide with the Word of God?

I go to a Christ-based church and the pastors very much follow the Word of God.

Always. Sometimes the pastor strays from the meaning, but most of the time it relates.

Many churches have their own Bibles in the pews, and the priest just reads from them.

Many moons ago, when I still attended church and believed the myths of Christianity, I carried my Bible . . . religiously. More often than not I would be bored silly and find myself reading Revelation or Isaiah for entertainment.

I do, but then I'm the preacher. I read any text I ask the congregation to reference.

When I'm not preaching, I'll usually go read something else rather than follow along.
