Unless you are an only child and your mother is disabled (alcoholic probably won't be considered a disability), it is highly unlikely. Contact your chaplain and they may be able to help you. Good luck.

In the military EVERYTHING is waiverable. Your chances of a hardship is all the easier if you are the only child who can provide for your mom. If you have siblings and they can't provide, be sure to get statements from them, signed, as to why that can't provide. I would at this start some paperwork that you can get from PSD to claim your mom as a dependent, she will then be eligible for medical/dental benefits as well. Put in your request for a hardship. Not sure where your mom is located. If it is remote, maybe a discharge, if by a military facility, all the better for you. Good Luck, AOC(AW/SW) Retired

you canrequest Compassionate reassignment, but there are no guarentees. if you have not served your entire first term of Enlistment, you may try and go Reserves, but again, they'd have to let you go.

You would have to demonstrate that your mother is a danger to her self and that no one else is availble to intervene. And you are married.. they will consider your spouse available.
