i have found that the new Pantene Time Reversal line was fabulous . The weekly conditioning balm used everyohther day rather than once a week did wonders in less than a month . Also buying a protective eave in treatment , like V05's light leave in aniti frizz cream and using it every time you dry or style will make it LOOK healthier for the interim . (John Frida's " brilliant Brunette" shine gloss works great no matter what color your hair is!) As for professinal products.. Biolage conditioning blam is always fab!

I would definetly recommend a spraying a heat protection in your hair before your straighten it. Also, try the sunsilk shampoo, conditioner, and leave in balm that is in the pink bottle. Make sure to trim your hair every 6 weeks to get rid of split ends. Also, try washing and conditioning your hair with cold water to close your hair cells. Good Luck!

I know how you feel, i went through a bleaching phase and it left my hair in terrible condition, so a mate recomended VO5 hotoil hair treatment, i put it on for around 5 to 10 min twice a week and my hair was soft and manageable and got its shine back...give it a try, if it doesnt work for you there is thousands of other brands on the market these days.....goodluck

Matrix Sleek works wonders on my hair. I have naturally curly hair and I straighten it every day. The shampoo and conditioner keep my hair in soft and shiny. Also use Bio Silk before straightening.

an intense moisturizing-everyday-conditioner would work. wet your hair smother it with half a cup or more and cover with a plastic bag. preferably top with a towel. and then leave it for 5 hours or more.... results in a very healthy manageable hair. results like shine magnifies, but depends on the product

When my hair was damaged really bad I used pantene pro v conditioner. I left it on there for at least 30 mins. Another thing I did was stop puttin my hair in ponytails with the metal clasp hair ties.

For hair in terrible condition best advice - leave it alone! There nothing you can do to resurrect dead... there is nothing you can do to bring to life dead hair... Some products can give some temporary "better look", but the fact is your hair is dead... Let new hair grow... but you probably will burn it again even before it's show up...

an once of prevention is worth 10 ounces of cure. But since thats too late....a trim and a hot oil soak should do it with a good conditioner and some R&R for your hair.
