TGIFridays make a Pecan Chicken salad, which is definitely my favorite! They used crushed up pecans with the bread crumbs to coat the chicken, and cook it, and slice it into strips. They start with regular lettuce, then add mandarin oranges, dried cranberries, celery and blue cheese. Then top the whole thing with the sliced chicken, and a balsamic glaze dressing. It's SO good.

Hands down the Brown Derby's Cobb salad. The Brown Derby at MGM studio's in Disney makes the identical recipe made famous by the Hollywood Derby. Any other one I've had in any restaurant hasn't been nearly as good.
If you are not familiar with it, it is a chopped salad, with rows of Chicken, Bacon, Avacodo, Egg, Tomato and Blue Cheese (I always leave this off mine). It's tossed together at the table with a yummy dressing. I have the original recipe somewhere but it's easy to find with a quick web search. I'll give this link since it's the Disney one I have. The dressings can vary slightly and I know this one is really good.
It is too yummy (and I think the best meal at Disney to boot lol)...but not too hard to make at home either! I saw someone mentioned this after I posted...but to me if you don't use this recipe (esp for the dressing) it not special or as unique.

Curry Chicken Salad:
4 oz plain yogurt
1 tbsp mayo
1-3 tbsp curry powder (depending on taste)
1 can of chicken breast or about 2-3 cut up cooked breasts
1/2 cup craisins
1/2 cup cashew pieces
These are just rough estimates of what I use. I just kind of throw in whatever looks and tastes like enough. It is super good, and easy. After all of your ingredients are mixed up, I would let it sit for at least an hour...it only gets better as it sits.

There's an inn in Calistoga, California that has the absolute most awesome salad. I've had it for years and they better not have changed their recipe!
It's a wild mixed greens salad with the house vinaigrette (I'd love to have the recipe!) and Kalamata olives and candied walnuts and gorgonzola.
I'm drooling just thinking about it.

Taco Salad
Brown 1 pound seasoned hamburger meat. Add 1 cup diced onion and cook on medium heat until onions are transparent. Drain fat off. Add 1 package taco mix. Let cook in for 10-15 minutes. Add 1 can red beans, stir in. Add one cup grated cheddar cheese. Stir in 1 1/2 cups crushed totinos chips, stir in then immediately pour this over torn lettuce and diced tomatoes. Serve in salad bowls and top with Kraft Thousand Island Dressing.

I LOVE having a nice blue cheese salad with steak.
Take romaine lettuce, 1 red pepper, 1 orange pepper, broccoli, mushrooms (omit add as needed or like to eat). Fry up some steak in strips, add it to the top with blue cheese crumbles. Top off with a few shavings of carrot. Its beautiful, healthy and very tasty. Red wine or basalmic vinagarette dressing works well. Enjoy!!

Romain lettuce, dried cranberry's feta cheese, glazed walnuts and raspberry dressing. Take half a bag of the cranberry's cheese & walnuts and mix with 1/4 cup of the dressing Layer the rest on top I use two bags of pre washed romain letuce. Put on a nice plater and serve. I have even added chicken and served as a main dish.

This is one of my favorites:
Candied Walnut, Pear, and Gorgonzola Salad
Ingredients:
1 cup walnut halves
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons water
1/2 cup crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
1 head butter leaf lettuce
2 pears, cored and cubed
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon Balsamic vinegar
Fresh cracked pepper
In small sauce pan combine brown sugar, butter and water over a low
heat. Cook long enough to just melt sugar, pour mixture over walnuts
and toss. Place candied walnuts on wax paper to cool. In salad bowl
toss lettuce, cheese, walnuts and pears with olive oil and vinegar.
Season with cracked pepper and serve.
