I am looking for a source for quality 10-round magazines that will fit the new Ruger 580 Series Mini-14 ranch rifle. I would prefer blue steel or black thermo-plastic but will accept nickel or stainless steel if need be.

DO like Mav says leave bolt open.Also the best aftermarket mags I've found for the Mini-14 is the 20 Pro Mag.They seem to be the best I've found in aftermarket.

Any big sporting goods store like Turners or others.
You may also look for them at large gun shows in your area
I handle them every day on my job during watch change
