yes this will change as he grows and mellows you should probbaly tap his nose and say NO when he bites even if it is just play we dont want him to form any bad habbits get him a frisby or ball tugg of war is great and all but it really upsets the balance for when the dog whens he assumes he is dominent

Is your puppy actually biting? Or is he playfully nipping like most puppies do? Also, how old is your puppy? What were the circumstances of his adoption? Your new puppy may be scared and just uncomfortable with his new surroundings, approaching your puppy with compassion and a firm 'NO' when he bears his teeth may do wonders. When following orders reward your new puppy a brand new chew toy or a good pat on the head.

Puppies chew, that's just what they do. WHAT they chew, however, is up to you. Remove anything from the area the puppy will be in that you don't want mauled, like shoes, socks, magazines, whatever. Give the puppy appropriate chewing things instead like dog toys and chew treats. My puppy is almost a year old now, and I can safely leave shoes in the room with him, because he's never identified that shoes were chew toys.

probably give him some raw hide chews puppies chew in order to develop strong teeth and jaws. don't allow him to chew on the furniture. If you catch him in the act give him a toy and make it clear that the toy is for chewing, and not the furniture. There are also various spray -on products that work it leaves an unpleasant scent that will effectively discourage chewing. They work really well if you take the time to apply them. Enjoy the little guy he will give you a life time of love and fun.

Yeah.
He could be teething. My puppy did the same thing. She is fine now. She's 7 months old. She does it occassionally like if I swing my foot around or something, but if you say "ah ah" she'll stop.
Hope this helped!

Only if you help him to stop. Do this positively, without yelling at or striking your dog, and you'll have a wonderful dog who understands not to bite.
