I am looking to know what to look for when I want to buy a glass.
The ones the men like that you stick in the freezer and they get cold and ready for beer. They are glass. What do you call them or what do I look for when trying to purchase one.

A mug has a handle, or a pint glass holds an Imperial pint, no handle, holds more beer. A pilsner glass is narrow at bottom and is wider at top, and graduates with a curve.

You want a heavy glass mug for that. Beer Steins are not made of glass, they are ceramic or stoneware. If you're going to put it in the freezer, you want it to have a handle, otherwise your fingers stick to the glass when you try to hold it!

You want a heavy, glass mug, around 6-8 inches tall, probably about 1/4 of an inch thick, and capable of holding 16-20 oz. or more.

You need to get a heavy glass mug. Don't buy one of the fancy ceramic ones if you are going to put it in the freezer.

There are some pictures of different kinds of beer glassware at the link below. I think you mean either a pint glass or a pilsner glass? Good luck.
