I have a one year old and we are expecting another child. My husband and I work full time. Trying to figure out finances with putting two kids in day care. The baby will be 6 weeks old and my daughter will be 18 months when I need to pay for two. We live in a suburb of Chicago.

You should expect to pay no less than $110 a week for your toddler and $140 a week for your newborn. You may get by a with a little less if you go with an in-home daycare but beware, you get what you pay for :)

Good luck!!!

I stay in baton rouge and that i have a 4 month previous her daycare is 100 and twenty a week. there have been some that I suggested as that cost alil more beneficial and alil a lot less. At day care centers it do not count number the what time the p.c.. up or drop off time is you pay a flat cost no count number what. regardless of if the child is ill and misses an afternoon you nonetheless pay for the completed week. once the child is about a three hundred and sixty 5 days previous the cost drops alil and drops again at the same time as they are about 3. In domicile daycares run alil diff. in case you do not make a lot money or are in college the state can help pay daycare cost. in accordance on your pay you would pay 0.5 or a fourth and the state will pay some thing else. search for newborn Care Assitance in Texas on goolge.
