Absolutely, it does. There could be many reasons for this. Maybe parents with a certain personality are more likely to pick that name. Therefore, people with a certain name have similar personalities or likes/dislikes. I think that is probably more likely.

Well, All the Proohets name was changed from their birth name to what God name them. The reason God renamed them he gave them gifts such as healing, raiseing someone from the dead and so on.
Your name should refect who you are inside even if your name is shanika have to find out what the root of the name comes from.

Names are just names. Most parents don't search for meanings when they name a child they search for something that sounds pleasing and fits well with the given surname. If meaning was oh so important my parents wouldn't have named me Barbara which is Greek for 'foreigner'.
