My sister has been maried for almost 5 years to a phsycho guy that threatens her and her family's life. They have a 4year old son and she doesn't want to take his daddy away from him and prevent him from seeing him. But at the same time she wants to get away from her husband. She wont file a restrainning order because of the baby..... and she cries herself to sleep at night because she doesn't know what to do. If anyone has any advise I would be interested to find out what you think before she gets hurt.... or worst...... killed, Please help me out. Thank all of you!!!

she need to divorce him and have supervised visits until he get some help. if he is hitting her any legal aid attorney will do the divorce for free...just look up legal aid in phone book. He can see his son just not her. Good luck and get her out of ther quick...

Honestly, if he is threatening them or her then he needs to go, as in seperation and he needs to have counseling to change his behavior. This is very easily said and very difficult to do.
Perhaps you need to get her to go see a professional counselor who can help her get her head together so she can make the best decisions for her and her kids.
