Its stupid to say Mayweather is overrated. Alot of you say that which is exactly why i say he's underrated. He's beaten the best of the best, he can't have a war no one is good enough to get him that. Arturo Gatti was suppose to give him a war. No sir. Diego Corrales was undefeated when they fought. Every person he fight is supposebly his "Hardest fight to date". Mayweather is the man.
I say either Ricky Hatton or Nicolai Valuev would be the 2 most overrated. Valuev has really no boxing skills and he is no where near Rocky Marciano. Alot of heavyweights could beat Valuev and he knows that, and he's avoiding them. Sam Peter or Klitschko would kill him. Even Shannon Briggs might be capable of beating him and alot of people still think of Valuev as "great".
Hatton is overrated too. He's never real beaten anybody.

The Crock ~
In my opinion the most overrated fighter today would have to be heavyweight "Champ" Valuev. He's close to beating Rocky Marcianos record of 49 - 0 by fighting fighters that he knows he can beat. The biggest difference, and there are many between Nikolai and Rocky is, Rocky fought the best of his era, the same can't be said of Valuev.
Thanks for the question Crock.

Unfortunately, Roy Jones Jr. He has lost some of his speed and athletisism and has not improved his technique. He can be out boxed and out speeded. I think any major matchup would be ugly. Another guy is Prince Naseem. I think if he mounts a comeback, he would get killed

i'd have to say any of the heavyweights! or peter manfredo..how in the hell does he get a shot at Calzaghe??? did u see what Calzaghe did to lacy? Manfredo is gonna get killed!!! alot of people are saying floyd mayweather but i have to disagree with that...as much as i can't stand that bastard, he is damn good! he destroyed gatti. should have lost to Castillo in their 1st fight but he destroyed him in the rematch...i still think he will get whipped by a de la hoya left hook. i don't see the power in him to KO de la hoya!

Edgar, with all do respect, Floyd is going to dominate that fight. I gunna go with the surprise pick of Manny Pacquiao. Not feeling he is as great as they say.
