There's no definitive answer, and at the root of Christian theology, it isn't important. No one should worship God or Jesus just because they desire a paradise afterlife. We should love God because we love God.

Although a lot of people DO believe that we wait until Judgement Day and all rise together. In fact, the priests during the French Revolution made sure the heads went with the right bodies so that there would be no confusion on the Last Day.

That makes me chuckle. I'll worry about the afterlife when I get there.

Depends on which religion you do ask.
Bible says you will wait in a place til Jesus Christ comes and re-creates the Earth for a time period 1000 years on earth, then after that a big Judgment and all the world is new and there are no more seas just rivers and lakes.
But you go to a place like Paradise as the Bible explains as Abraham's bosom; Luke 16:22
And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

According to atheist beliefs, nothing.

According to jewish beliefs, hellfire because they thought Jesus was the Messiah.

According to muslim beliefs, hellfire because they didn't accept Muhammad as a prophet of God, just as the christians think the jews are going to burn in hellfire because they didn't accept Jesus as the Messiah.

According to my belief, Hellfire...

That poses a pretty good question, though...
