Where is he from? You say you want to go back to Jamaica so is he from Jamaica? If he is then yes you can go there for a holiday. He just wouldn't be able to visit countries where his passport does not allow him (unless he has a visa to visit that country). His marriage visa only entitles him to stay in the UK.
Hope this makes sense and helps.

If a man is disrespecting you, I'm tellin you now, he doesn't love you. A man will do almost anything for you, if he loves you and he definitely wouldn't say nothing to hurt you. I would get out of that marriage as soon as possible. The only thing.. it appear that he hasn't done yet is hit you. To me he is showing a minimal sign of abuse and the first thing a man will do once he has treated you so badly is say he loves you and then go back and does the same thing over again. No, if a man loves you, he wouldn't do nothing to harm you. I would run as quickly as I can from this man. I wish you the best of luck.

If your husband's leave is still valid and he is still lawfully married to you and intending to continue that state of affairs upon his return to the UK then he should have no issues at the UK IS controls.
